Poverty Reduction

TRASP works with rural communities to increase their agriculture production through cultivation of high value chain crops which will improve their economic status by selling their farm produce. Rural communities are trained in modern agriculture technologies to increase their yield and farmers are encouraged to practice collective selling which helps them negotiate for better selling prices at a group than if sold individually. Education

There is a global learning crisis. More than half of the world’s school-aged children are not learning. Moreover, around 1 in 4 children and youth live in countries affected by crisis where their learning is interrupted. In Africa, poverty and Orphanage due to increased loss of either one parent or both due to HIV and AIDS and other emerging emergencies contribute to children failing learn and reach their full potential.

Women & Youth Empowerment

The government of Tanzania focuses on agriculture as key approach of reducing poverty levels. In line with the same, TRASP promotes cultivation of nutritious crops for sound nutrition and cash crops for robust economic welfare on households as well as for the national at large.
